GaiusCruoris played The Sims 2

I've been playing the Sims 2, with no expansion packs and only a few improvements and fixes from MATY and TwoJeffs, on another computer. I started a custom neighborhood and created a sim to play legacy style. So far, Isabel Grace has gotten married, had two kids, become a mad scientist, seen both kids get married, and become the grandmother of one kid from the younger daughter who lives across the street and one kid and a set of twins from the older daughter who still lives with her as her heir. What I did in the game this weekend was watch the older daughter, Lucy, spin out the twins, then take care of them until they became children. Isabel's husband, Leo, ended up retiring to help take care of the twins, and Isabel and Lucy have just been using up their paid vacation days. Isabel wanted to max all her skills anyway, and Lucy needed to make a couple friends and get her last logic and charisma points to be promoted again, so it's just as well that they had a reason to be home. Lucy actually had those points already, but I picked a bad chance card before she went on maternity leave. I managed to get the three kids into private school today.
